Travel: Life begins at €60 at Louis Fitzgerald Hotels Ireland
June 16, 2010
If you’re more than 60 years old you will never pay more than €60.00 when you stay at a Louis Fitzgerald Group hotel in Dublin.
The group, which owns the four-star Louis Fitzgerald Hotel at Newlands Cross and the three-star Arlington O’Connell Bridge Hotel and Arlington Temple Bar Hotel, is offering a significant discount on room rates to “more mature” guests.
Active retirement groups in Ireland can currently take advantage of the Louis Fitzgerald Senior Privilege Card - which entitles them to the Life Begins at €60 offer throughout all its hotels – that offer is now being extended to the over-sixties in the UK.
Louis Fitzgerald said: “We have many mature guests from the UK staying at our hotels either as individuals or as members of larger groups and we were keen to extend this offer to them.
“Many of them come especially to enjoy the Arlington Hotel’s Irish Night entertainment with its mix of traditional Irish music and dancing.”
Now entering its twentieth successful year, the Arlington Hotels Irish Night is one of the highlights of any visit to Dublin. Running all year the show is free of charge to guests and a three-course dinner is available for just €29.95. As an added bonus UK pensioners aged over sixty six get free rail travel in Ireland.
The rate of €60.00 is based on a single occupancy on a bed and full Irish breakfast or €70.00 for a double occupancy.
