Calling all school cooks! You could win a glittering night out at Claridge’s in Mayfair.

The prestigious British Turkey Awards is delighted to announce a new award for the UK’s best school meal - using turkey, of course!

School cooks across the country are invited to enter, by simply putting a dish on their school lunch menu using any cut of British Turkey carrying the Quality British Turkey and Red Tractor logo - mince, breast steaks, strips, diced thigh or even a whole turkey joint.

Entrants then need to send the full recipe, with a photo of the dish, and some of the students’ comments with a completed entry form which can be downloaded from www.ilovebritishturkey.co.uk It couldn’t be easier!

Three schools successfully shortlisted will be visited by a judge who will try the dishes and choose the winner. The Best School Meal Award will be revealed at a glittering awards ceremony at Claridge’s, London on 23rd September, where the winner will receive a trophy and certificate.
