Wine: Two English Crackers For Easter!
January 13, 2010
Carr Taylor vineyards, located in East Sussex have just released the newest vintages of two of their most recently award wining wines, both are quintessentially English and perfect for Easter!!
Carr Taylor Alexis 2009
A dry and aromatic white with notes of pear-drops, citrus and apples. Not too dis-similar to any quality New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc but far far cleaner!! Alexis won Bronze in last year’s International Wine Challenge in London, not a bad achievement amongst thousands of wines from over 60 different countries! £7.99
Carr Taylor Sparkling Brut NV
A superb, Champagne-esq quality sparkling wine, notes of apples, honey, biscuits and citrus. I honest feel that is is one of the best quality and value for money English Sparkling wines that I have ever tried!! Submitted into a competition in Bordeaux last year and won a Bronze Medal!! £13.99
Both wines are available direct from the vineyard by mail order/internet and UK-Wide delivery service available. Also available via www.everywine.co.uk with further listings throughout the UK being planned for 2010.
