Cooking:Master Expert Techniques Direct From London’s Hottest Culinary Talent

MasterChef Live is giving visitors the chance to develop their culinary expertise with an exceptionally wide variety of workshops, masterclasses, tasting sessions and demos:
- The Sushi Academy London will be running sushi making masterclasses where you’ll learn about the ingredients, equipment, history and rituals behind great sushi followed by a hands-on workshop. You even get to take your creations home in your very own bento box!
- To make your festive cocktail parties stand out from the crowd this season, pmc_2009_steve_grovesbook yourself into an exclusive Urban Caprice Canapé Club session where Iain Graham, Executive Chef of Urban Caprice, will teach you how to make the irresistible nibbles that are served at London’s chicest soirées for only £25 for a 45 minute session
- If you want to add some fizz to Christmas, then take part in one of the Cordoníu Sparkling Wine Masterclasses where you’ll taste half a dozen wines from the Cordoníu cellars
- Join in a Taste Workshop presented by Slow Food to taste and learn about good, clean and fair food, it’s production and methods

The show also hosts a Hot Tips Pod on each floor where you’ll find the country’s leading chefs sharing their knowledge, advice and tips on developing your own skills
- Theo Randall of award-winning Theo Randall at The InterContinental, and previously The River Café, will show you the easy way to make your own fresh pasta
- Recent MasterChef: The Professionals finalist Marianne Lumb will give top tips on developing cutting edge knife skills
- Le Caprice’s Group Pastry Chef, Phil Usher will be teaching the delicate art of making sugar roses
- Gerry Rae of the Simpson’s-in-the-Strand will be leading a carving class, perfect preparation for your Christmas roast
- Funkin Cocktails will demonstrate the art of mixology to show you just how it’s done
- You can also catch up with recent winner of MasterChef: The Professionals Steve Groves who’ll share some of the secrets that won him the coveted title

Be sure to book MasterClasses and Workshops in advance as these sessions are very popular. There is no booking required for the Hot Tips Pod sessions where seats are free of charge, on a first come first served basis.
