Wild and Live at the Royal Albert Hall - A concert in aid of Wildlife
Marking 25 years of leading animal charity Born Free
Tickets are now on sale for what is being hailed as one of the greatest events ever to be held in the UK in aid of our planet’s wildlife. Wild and Live at the Royal Albert Hall on Saturday 14th November at 7:30pm will showcase an international line up of top stars from the world of music and entertainment.
Marking the 25th anniversary of the Born Free Foundation, funds raised from the concert will help save the lives of over 25,000 animals in the wild and those suffering in captivity, including many threatened and endangered species.
JOIN THE WILDEST GROUP ON THE PLANET!
A whole host of luminaries from the world of music and entertainment are signing up to support the event. So far stars such as Sharon Osbourne, Martin Clunes, Gabriella Cilmi and Amanda Holden have signed up with some very exciting additions as well the headline acts to be announced shortly.
With tigers facing imminent extinction, lion populations crashing, rhinos relentlessly killed for their horns and gorillas lucky to see out the next Century; the clock is ticking on the World’s most endangered wild animals.
Virginia McKenna, founder of the Born Free Foundation said, “We are running out of time for so many wild animals. They are desperately in need of our help. With this concert we aim to raise the profile of worldwide campaigns to save endangered species. We are bringing artists from Britain and all over the globe together for one night…to go live and celebrate the wild.”
The event will also showcase international music to represent the global sound and rhythm of the conservation and animal welfare movement.
