Cooking: London’s top chefs unite for the first annual Asian Enterprise Charity Dinner
September 8, 2009
London, UK – Food connoisseurs, mark your calendars! A star-studded line-up of award-winning Indian chefs is coming together for the first time ever to cook up a five-course feast for charity.
Vineet Bhatia of Rasoi Vineet Bhatia, Sriram Aylur of Quilon, Alfred Prasad of Tamarind, Cyrus Todiwala of Café Spice Namaste and Vivek Singh of The Cinnamon Club have all been brought together by Karim Ullah, Publisher of Asian Enterprise magazine to raise money for The Indian Ocean Disaster Relief and Head and Neck Cancer Research Trust.
Held on September 16th at the brand new Grange St. Paul’s Hotel in London, this exclusive event will see each chef prepare a sumptuous course, complete with top entertainment, with the food, of course being the star of the night.
Karim Ullah, Publisher of Asian Enterprise says: “I’m really proud to be able to present some of London’s finest chefs all under one roof. Never before has there been an event where leading Indian chefs have prepared a five-course meal together, so this is going to be an amazing opportunity to sample the cuisine of these outstanding chefs, in just one sitting. They are all incredibly excited about working together and raising money for charity.
“I have been planning to do an event on this scale since I first launched Asian Enterprise in 2007. But over the past two years I’ve been focused on building the magazine, which has featured some extraordinary people like Fazle Abed, James Caan and Naresh Goyal, but now that Asian Enterprise has established itself as a leading Asian business publication, I can spread my focus to the Asian Enterprise Charity Dinner as well.”
