Following the huge success of the Spring tour of Angelina Ballerina’s Big Audition, English National Ballet has added extra dates at Holland Park this August. The show will run from 22 until 30 August with 20 performances at the 1,000 seat state of the art theatre. Host to the Opera Holland Park annual season, the theatre is one of the most beautiful covered spaces in the capital and provides the perfect setting for Angelina’s latest adventure.

Angelina Ballerina’s Big Audition follows the little star with big dreams Angelina Ballerina as she prepares to audition for the prestigious Camembert Academy of Performing Arts. Miss Lilly prepares Angelina for her big chance to dance in front of the judges and, although excited about the possibility of an exciting new adventure, Angelina worries about leaving Miss Lilly’s class behind. During her audition at the Camembert Academy, Angelina meets lots of new friends including the hip-hopping AJ and disco-dancing Vici! Will Angelina’s dream of joining the academy end in tears, or will this be an exciting new chapter in her life?

Angelina Ballerina’s Big Audition is choreographed by Antony Dowson, with music from Tchaikovsky’s The Nutcracker recorded by English National Ballet’s Orchestra and arranged by English National Ballet’s Music Director Gavin Sutherland. The magical sets and costumes have been inspired by the highly anticipated new Angelina Ballerina CGI animated television series and from the original book illustrations.

This extra London dates offer even more children aged between three and nine a chance to see classical ballet danced by members of English National Ballet at affordable prices across the UK.
