Jerry Goldman, Beatles Story said: “During the ‘08 Capital of Culture year many of the great events were in fact Cultural imports! The White Feather exhibition was produced in Liverpool by Liverpool people and tells the story of a Liverpool family. This is evidence that we are now a Capital of Culture”.

Earlier in the day, Julian and Liverpool’s Lord Mayor, Mike Storey, lit a White Feather Foundation candle at The Beatles Story, as a symbol of peace. Candles will be distributed to cities across the globe for civic leaders to bring attention to Julian’s and the Foundation’s message of peace. White Feather: Spirit of Lennon opens this week at The Beatles Story’s brand new Pier Head venue.
