Run The Great Manchester Run For The Red Cross
If you’re feeling the inch after a very festive season, sign up to the Red Cross Great Manchester Run team and give yourself the best incentive to get fit in 2009. You’ll feel great and you’ll be making a real difference to those in crisis in Manchester and across the world.

The Red Cross will support you every step of the way with training tips, nutritional advice and fundraising ideas. You will be joining the hundreds of others running as part of the Red Cross team, who on the day will all enjoy the Red Cross reception and a well earned massage.
Laura Cooper, British Red Cross Senior Fundraiser for Manchester said: “ The BUPA Great Manchester Run is a fantastic excuse to get fit after the festive season has taken its toll, whether you are an experienced runner or just getting started. Over 30,000 runners will be taking to the streets of Manchester and this year we are looking for runners to make this year’s Red Cross team the biggest and best yet!”

The Red Cross has guaranteed places in this year’s BUPA Great Manchester 10k Run which takes place on Sunday 17 May. Guaranteed Red Cross places are allocated on a first come, first served basis. A place costs £35 to register and runners are asked to pledge to raise £150 in sponsorship. All sponsorship raised will enable the Red Cross to continue its vital work both in the UK and abroad.
