Gardening: Search for ‘The People’s Gardener’

The judges – TV gardener Charlie Dimmock, Roger Burnett, Chair of Britain in Bloom judges and Annie Sweetbaum, talent agent to stars including many of our best known gardening personalities, will shortlist a heat winner each fortnight who will go through to the grand final. Alan Titchmarsh said, ‘We’ve had competitions for everything from pop star idols to variety acts. This competition is for something close to my heart – to find someone who has dramatically changed their local environment through gardening.’

Entry is open to anyone whose passion for gardening benefits their community in some way. To enter yourself, or nominate someone you know, send a short letter explaining why the individual deserves to be ‘The People’s Gardener’ with photographs showing what they have achieved, to:
