Fitness First’s survey revealed that just eight per cent of gym goers have a gym buddy – but a massive 47 per cent would love to have someone for motivation and a gossip on the treadmill. Away from the prospect of a celebrity gym buddy, personal trainers topped the list of ideal gym buddies with almost 30 per cent of respondents choosing a PT, just ahead of their best friend or a celebrity.
